![]() The next time I get something delivered to me that isn't mine, I'll turn it over to the police and you can fetch it from them. "This isn't going to happen again, okay? No more misdirected packages. Next time a package arrives and you call, just say it plain and simple. TL DR : Neighbor knowingly sending their parcels to my address. Why could they be sending it to my address and asking me to hold onto it? I don't feel comfortable just stopping them on the stairs and confronting the issue and asking them to stop. I don't want to be involved with them or bring her packages into my home and hold it for her. I didn't tell her my name or address so I think she is knowingly sending her mail to my house and I don't like that. I told her I wasn't at home often and that I wouldn't be able to. I explained that I was just calling to let them know I had their postage and she was very grateful and asked me in the future if she could call me at this number when she has her boxes sent out here so I can pick it up and bring it inside until she can collect it. Less than a minute later I got a phone call from the number on the package. Someone I haven't seen before that came from the same apartment claimed the UPS guy told her he dropped the package off at the wrong place. While I was calling the number there was a knock on the door. My address was correct but there was only a phone number not a name. My boyfriend brought it in and when I saw it I knew it wasn't something I had ordered. Today the UPS guy came and had a package for myself and the neighbor across the hall. He didn't believe me and there was another discussion about it later. He asked about a parcel that was sent to my house and I informed him I left it outside my door and when I came back later in the day it was gone. He wanted me to let him in and I refused and I told him to talk to me through the door. A few days later he came back and knocked and spoke normally. I was very scared because I live alone and I have never had contact before with him. After a couple months of receiving the shipments I began to just leave it outside of my door in hopes the owner would come find it.īack in November things came to a head when my neighbor(20M) across the hall banged on my door while screaming to open up for 3-5 minutes. In the past I have called the numbers and searched on Facebook the names only to discover they don't exist or belong to a business. Since moving in there have been numerous fights between them and it sometimes carries out into the common walkway.ĭuring this time I began receiving packages with my address but a different name or no name. I live in an apartment and roughly 8 months ago a woman moved across the hallway with her middle school age son and another male in his 20's.
